1. Deputy Manager (Electrical) – 40 Posts

• Educational Qualification: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics with at least 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University/Institution. (SC/ST/PwBD candidates require pass marks only).
• Experience Profile: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (including training period) in the power sector (Coal, Gas, Lignite) in Operation, Maintenance, Commissioning, Erection, Engineering, Energy Efficiency, Project Management, or Field Quality.

2. Deputy Manager (Mechanical) – 55 Posts

• Educational Qualification: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Mechanical / Production with at least 60% aggregate marks. (SC/ST/PwBD candidates require pass marks only).
• Experience Profile: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in the power sector across Operation, Maintenance, Commissioning, Erection, Engineering, or Project Management.

3. Deputy Manager (C&I) – 40 Posts

• Educational Qualification: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Electronics / Control & Instrumentation / Instrumentation with at least 60% aggregate marks. (SC/ST/PwBD candidates require pass marks only).

Special Experience & Pay-Scale Rules for Govt/PSU Candidates

Candidates currently employed in Government Departments or Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) must fulfill these additional requirements:

1. Pay Scale Criteria: Out of the required 10 years of executive experience, the candidate must have at least 02 years of service in the IDA pay scale of ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000/- (E3 Grade of NTPC effective from 01.01.2017) or an equivalent grade.
2. No Objection Certificate (NOC): Candidates must upload and furnish an official NOC from their current employer at the time of application.

Age Limit & Category Relaxations

• Upper Age Limit: 40 Years as of the closing date of the online application (26.08.2026).

Age & Experience Relaxation Summary:

• SC / ST Candidates: Upper age limit relaxed by 5 years. Total experience required is relaxed by 2 years (i.e., 8 years total experience needed instead of 10).

Compensation & Pay Scale (E4 Grade)

Selected candidates will be appointed in the E4 Grade under the IDA pay structure:

• Pay Scale: ₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000/- per month.
